Wardrobe Refashion: The Pledge
I, Tavia, pledge that I shall abstain from the purchase of "new" manufactured items of clothing, for the period of 6 months. I pledge that I shall refashion, renovate, recycle pre-loved items for myself with my own hands in fabric, yarn or other medium for the term of my contract. I pledge that I will share the love and post a photo of my refashioned, renovated, recycled, crafted or created item of clothing on the Wardrobe Refashion blog, so that others may share the joy that thy thriftiness brings!
Signed,
Tavia
**Yep, 6 months. I thought about starting with just two, but I can do this. Let's see how much money I save... The pledge begins today!
***I even got my sister to do this. Actually, it didn't take much convincing (she says I caught her on a good day). She has two formal weddings to attend this month and nothing in her closet for them. I am so excited to see what she comes up with. The two of us working in cahoots on something crafty... watch out, people!

Wow! Kudos to you! Sounds like a fun challenge.
ReplyDeleteAny luck with the turkeys?
Glad to find your blog through Wardrobe Refashion - I've always wanted to learn more about essential oils - this might be a good place for me to start. I'm a teacher as well, but currently staying home with my almost three-year-old son. Best to you and your family,
